How to Optimize Conversion Campaigns

So you’ve been running Facebook ads for your music for a while and you’re looking for ways to optimize your ad spend, if you haven’t read how to create your first campaign here.

One of the strategies I have been using to optimize our campaigns is custom audiences and lookalike audiences, and they are surprising easy to use.

The first thing you are going to want to do is visit audiences in Facebook Business Manager and create a custom audience.

From here you are going to want to choose the conversion event that you have been using in your campaigns, for those of you using Toneden it will most likely be View Content or Lead.

After you create your custom audience you are going to use it as a source and create a lookalike audience. Select countries you have been adverting in and select the number of audiences you wish to have.

Once you have create this audience you can let it populate and you now have a audience you can use in your campaigns that is essentially a lookalike of people who have converted on your ads. This can help reduce costs long term, don’t be afraid to experiment with it!
